EPPLEY FILES

George and Anita Eppley

END OF THE EPPLEY FILES

This is the final edition of the EPPLEY FILES, which I began in late 1998.

Writing an essay, a reflection and a hero piece every other week – until this past year when I reduced the output—has been a tough and sometimes exhausting task, but one I enjoyed.  But it’s time to give it a rest and provide a final and appropriate burial.  The remains, however, are contained in the Archives, which will be accessible indefinitely.

I thank my readers for their comments, criticism and suggestions. I always looked forward to reading the emails that followed a new edition.

Special thanks to Cathy Barr and Marcia Erickson, owners of Datsmarts, a Cleveland company specializing in software training, web and database development. For the past five years they have designed and produced our website. I am most grateful for their kindness and expertise.

The end of the EPPLEY FILES does not mean an end to my writing. Working on my memoirs is now my top priority.  Whether I have an audience is not as important as attempting to review and put into perspective over 86 years of life. It’s a slow process that just might require another 86 years.
