About George Eppley

George Eppley is professor emeritus of English, Cuyahoga Community College, Cleveland, Ohio.

Eppley, who earned a Ph.D. at Western Reserve University, has been a parish priest, a high school teacher and principal, a college professor, a graduate school dean, and a consultant/innovator for an inner city high school.

His most recent publication is Life Comes to the Archbishop, a novel, which can be purchased by using the order form on the Publications page.

Eppley has been published in The New York Times, Newsday,and The Plain Dealer. Eppley and his wife, Anita Dixon Eppley, have co-authored three college composition textbooks with Harcourt Brace, HarperCollins, and Mayfield. With a group of other writers, they are co-authors of College and Career Success Simplified (Pearson Longman Publishers, 2004).
